The Dark Knight Trailer

December 17th, 2007

In this case, the dark knight in question is actually Batman, as this is a sequel to 2005s quite adequate Batman Begins. Go on ahead and watch the new trailer. Great take on the Joker, but annoying that Batmans love interest was re-cast instead of re-placed.

  1. I totally agree about Maggie Gyllenhaal joining the cast. She should’ve been a new girl for Bruce/Batman to fall for.

  2. Still, looks pretty interesting!

  3. I loved the trailer! Can’t wait. :]

  4. Man, I saw the Joker teaser posters before, but when it finally showed his face after that little space, it freaked me out. I can barely recognize Heath Ledger — which is a good thing, I think. I really can’t wait. And to be honest, Katie Holmes is generally an annoying actress, so at least there’s a chance that we can finally have a respectable love interest in the movies.

OK, a slim chance, but a chance regardless!

Actually I don’t mind so much Maggie Gyllenhaal, she seems like a decent actress. Certainly she feels like a more competent choice than Katie Holmes. My problem is both these girls play the same character.

Certainly his laugh seems like a classic “Joker-laugh”. The right pitch and everything. He seems like he can pull off the more buff and close-to-the-comic joker. Very interesting.
