Casino Royale Mini-Review

Casino Royale is the newest James Bond movie. It is also the name of the first book about the secret agent, as written by his creator Ian Fleming.
Most interestingly, it is a movie that completely ignores the events of the past 20 Bond movies. It is a reboot, if you will; James Bond Begins. This works really well for Casino Royale. Not only is it a “back to basics” approach, but we also get to see how Bond became Bond. Add to that great acting, great casting, a decent storyline and Eva Green and you have a winning combination.
Even so, there are elements of this movie I dislike, hence only resulting in 4 stars.
